Description: Two large, balanced flowers, on one erect 14.0-cm inflorescence; sepals spatulate, slightly cupped, medium green; petals porrect, medium green, dark burgundy veins centrally; lip excessively recurved, typical of species, cream, yellow overlay around crest, large maroon spots apically; column light green, anther cap cream; substance firm; texture satiny.

Description: Six flowers on three, 16-cm to 19.5-cm, upright inflorescences borne on a six growth sedge-like growths in a 15.5-cm flared, clear plastic Cymbidium pot containing medium bark and pumice; growths bearing five to six up to 61.8-cm long by up to 1.4-cm wide, linear, medium green leaves, margins finely serrated, enclosing inconspicuous, up to 2-cm by up to 1.5-cm, pseudobulbs; inflorescences green-cream, mostly encased by five light green-cream bracts, veined slightly darker along length; not extending beyond foliage; sepals yellow-green, overlaid green on distal third, evenly veined faint green; petals yellow-green, overlaid green on distal third, evenly veined green; lip yellow-cream, bright yellow basally, midlobe blushed light yellow centrally, lightly darker yellow near calli; column cream, blushed light yellow distally; substance moderate; texture finely crystalline; floral bracts 0.9cm wide and 4cm long; Country of origin SiChuan province in China; pending SITF verification; the plant is originated from SiChuan province in China. It was discovered and wild collected in late Qing Dynasty, about one hundred years ago; awarded as Cymbidium tortisepalum var. longibracteatum, confirmed by SITF (Oct 2019).
